Bitmain Surpasses 6 Million ETH Holdings

Bitmain (比特大陆) announced that its Ethereum holdings have exceeded 6 million ETH, representing 4.9% of the total supply. The company is 98% of the way toward its goal of acquiring 5% of the total supply. Chairman Tom Lee stated that the firm purchased 17,362 ETH in the past week, bringing its total assets, including cash and securities, to approximately 17.2 billion dollars.
