Apple Releases Emergency Update to Patch Zero-Day Vulnerability Targeting Crypto Wallets

Apple has issued an emergency security update to address a zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2026-86950) in iOS, iPadOS, and macOS that was being actively exploited to compromise cryptocurrency wallets. The flaw, located in the CoreGraphics library, allowed attackers to execute arbitrary code via malicious files. SlowMist founder Evilcos warned that versions prior to iOS 27 were being targeted by criminal groups to steal user assets. Apple confirmed the vulnerability was used in sophisticated attacks, and users are urged to update their devices immediately.
