Citigroup Expands Tokenized Deposit Services to Japan and UAE

Citigroup has launched its Citi Token Services in Japan and the UAE, enabling institutional clients to move funds 24/7 using tokenized deposits. The service supports USD in both markets, with additional support for EUR in the UAE. This expansion brings the total number of markets served by the platform to seven. Additionally, Citigroup announced an expanded partnership with Coinbase to facilitate corporate stablecoin payment processing and automated fiat conversion, starting in the United States.
