NEAR Intents Blocks Over $50 Million in Bitget Hacker Transfer Attempts

NEAR Intents head Alex Shevchenko reported that the protocol successfully intercepted over $50 million in attempted transfers by the Bitget hacker. Only $166,000 passed through, while $503,000 was frozen during execution. The interception was facilitated by the SHIELD risk intelligence layer, which detects anomalous fund flows. NEAR Intents has also waived the 10% bounty offered by Bitget to assist in the recovery of stolen assets.
