Citi Expands Tokenized Deposit Services to Japan and UAE

Citigroup has expanded its Citi Token Services, a blockchain-based institutional fund transfer platform, to Japan and the UAE. The service now supports 24/7 USD settlements in Japan, and both USD and EUR transactions in the UAE. This expansion brings the total number of markets served by the platform to seven, following its initial launch in the US, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UK.
