Zcash Developers Integrate Project Tachyon into Zakura Common Stack

The Zcash development team released the Udon Rust crate on September 28, 2026, initiating the integration of Project Tachyon’s recursive proof code into the Zakura Common cryptographic stack. This effort aims to enhance shielded transaction speeds, with a long-term goal of achieving over 50,000 shielded transactions per second. This follows the successful launch of Zakura 1.0 in July 2026, which significantly improved node and wallet performance.
