Manus Founder Xiao Hong Announces Plans for Domestic Version of General-Purpose Agent

Xiao Hong, founder of the general-purpose agent Manus, stated that the product was designed to go beyond office tasks, emphasizing the importance of creative scenarios like video and gaming. Manus Studio, a local client, enables the creation of videos and multiplayer games through code execution rather than generative models. The platform provides cloud-based Linux, Mac, and Windows environments, allowing agents to operate independently. Xiao noted that Manus is currently preparing a domestic version for the Chinese market.
