AltX Research has announced the rebranding of its proprietary blockchain, Japan Smart Chain (JSC), to MIZUHIKI: The Japan Chain. The company is shifting its business model from general blockchain development to providing a comprehensive stablecoin issuance and payment infrastructure that complies with Japanese regulations, while also serving as a payment service provider (PSP). The firm has launched its mainnet and confirmed a proof-of-concept for a grant distribution platform.
