Greece Registers First Crypto Service Providers Under MiCA

Greece has officially added BCash, Xenios Blockchain Group, Capital Wallet Greece, and Piraeus Bank to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) MiCA registry. The Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) and the Bank of Greece oversee these entities. Additionally, the HCMC denied rumors that European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde influenced the review process of Binance’s application, which the exchange withdrew on June 24, 2026.
