Ignas: Tokenomics innovation is evolving with new mechanisms

DeFi researcher Ignas stated that the crypto industry is moving beyond high-FDV, low-float token models by experimenting with new mechanisms. Projects like ZCAT, BUN/Mosh, STONK, VVV/DIEM, ORBIO, and BP are introducing features such as transfer taxes, fee-sharing, buybacks, and staking-based utility to provide tokens with real value. While these efforts aim to shift tokens away from being mere fundraising tools, Ignas noted that speculation remains a dominant driver in the current market.
