Aiden Pleterski, who dubbed himself the 'Crypto King,' is set to stand trial on October 5 at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Canada for an alleged $30 million cryptocurrency fraud. Pleterski is accused of soliciting funds between 2021 and 2022 under false promises of high weekly returns. He faces fraud and money laundering charges filed in May 2024 and is expected to represent himself at the four-week trial. If convicted of fraud, he faces a maximum sentence of 14 years.
