Tencent Hunyuan Expands Capacity for Hy4 Preview Amid Surge in WorkBuddy Usage

Tencent Hunyuan announced that the Hy4 preview, integrated into WorkBuddy on August 28, 2026, experienced a significant surge in demand due to its enhanced agent capabilities. The high volume of requests led to task queues on the first day of launch. In response, Tencent has urgently expanded its inference cluster capacity and is dynamically allocating resources. However, the company noted that occasional queuing may still occur during peak periods due to high concurrency and limited high-end computing power.
