DeFi Protocols Suffer $83 Million Loss in Price Manipulation Attacks

Decentralized finance protocols Tectonic and Moonwell have lost over $84 million in total due to price-manipulation attacks over a four-day period. Tectonic on the Cronos blockchain suffered the majority of the losses, estimated at $75 million by security firm GoPlus. These incidents mirror vulnerabilities previously highlighted by US financial regulators.
