CME Group Launches New Crypto Indices Excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum

CME Group has introduced two new multi-asset crypto benchmark indices. The CME CF Emerging Crypto Index tracks 10 assets including BNB, XRP, SOL, HYPE, LINK, XLM, SUI, UNI, AVAX, and AAVE, specifically excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum. The CME CF Crypto Market Index includes these 10 assets plus Bitcoin and Ethereum. Both indices are market-cap weighted, rebalanced semi-annually, and designed for institutional use in financial products and derivatives.
