South Korean and Japanese Stock Markets Open Lower, SK Hynix Drops 3.5%

On August 31, South Korea's KOSPI index fell 2.58% at the opening, with Samsung Electronics declining 3% and SK Hynix dropping 3.5%. Meanwhile, Japan's Nikkei 225 index opened down 1.10%, or 731.46 points, to reach 65,674.10.
