Cronos Suspends Network Following $75 Million Tectonic Exploit

Cronos halted its blockchain after an attacker manipulated the price of Tectonic's TONIC token by 100-fold. The attacker used the inflated token as collateral to drain real assets from the lending protocol. Most of the stolen funds remain stranded as network validators paused operations in response to the incident.
