South Korea's KOSPI Rebounds as SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics Gain

The KOSPI index closed up 0.46% at 6820.1 points on August 31, recovering from an intraday drop of over 3%. SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics both saw gains exceeding 1%. Meanwhile, the Nikkei 225 index fell 0.14% to close at 66311.93 points.
