Alipay Chairman: Cryptocurrency Emerging as AI Payment Medium

Han Xinyi, CEO of Ant Group and Chairman of Alipay, stated at the China Payment and Clearing Forum that cryptocurrencies are becoming a viable medium for AI-driven payments. He identified four paths for AI payment development: payment technology platforms like Stripe, crypto-native firms like Circle and Coinbase using stablecoins, traditional payment networks like Visa and Mastercard, and AI platform companies like Google and OpenAI.
