UK HMRC Reports 240 Individuals Declared Over £1 Million in Crypto Gains

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) announced on August 27 that 17,600 individuals declared capital gains from cryptocurrencies for the 2024-2025 tax year. Among them, 240 individuals reported gains exceeding £1 million, with the total profit across all filers reaching approximately 155 billion yen.
