Zcash Launches Zakura Common to Accelerate Private Transaction Generation

Zcash developers have released an open-source cryptographic toolkit, Zakura Common, designed to significantly improve the efficiency of private transaction generation and verification. The tool reduces transaction creation time from over 3 seconds to under 200 milliseconds in certain scenarios. It offers 14x faster proof generation on mobile and 5x on desktop, alongside substantial improvements in hashing and node verification speeds.
