Biren Technology (壁仞科技) reported a nearly 20-fold increase in revenue in its latest semi-annual report. Other industry leaders like Cambricon (寒武纪) and Moore Threads (摩尔线程) also saw significant growth. The sector is currently facing a severe supply shortage for high-end computing power, with some orders delayed by up to three years. Industry research estimates a demand for 4 million domestic AI chips in 2026, with only 3 million being delivered, leaving a million-unit production gap.
