New York and Wyoming Regulators Sign MOU to Coordinate Crypto Oversight

The New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) and the Wyoming Division of Banking have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to coordinate the regulation of crypto companies operating in both states. The agreement facilitates the sharing of examination data, licensing information, and enforcement actions. It also establishes an expedited approval process for firms already regulated in one state for at least three years, aiming for a decision within six months. This partnership bridges New York's BitLicense framework with Wyoming's specialized digital asset banking regulations.
