Firms that apply within this period may benefit from a saving provision that allows them to continue serving existing customers and taking on new business if their application remains pending when the full regime commences on October 25, 2027. Late applicants who file before the commencement date but after the window closes will face restrictions, prohibiting new contracts with both existing and new customers during the transition period.
