Multicoin Capital Adds Lucas to Investment Team

Multicoin Capital has appointed Lucas, formerly of Pods Media and Bankless, to its investment team as of October 1, 2026. The hire coincides with the firm's ninth anniversary and follows a series of leadership changes throughout 2026, including co-founder Kyle Samani's transition to an advisory role and the promotion of Spencer Applebaum and Shayon Sengupta to General Partner positions. The firm currently manages a $422 million venture fund raised in 2022.
