Analyst: BTC Remains Above Short-Term Holder Cost Basis with 72% Unrealized Gains for Long-Term Holders

While the STH cost basis rose 1.2% over the past week to $73,700, these holders maintain an unrealized profit of 13.7%. Meanwhile, the cost basis for long-term holders (LTH) decreased slightly to $48,800, leaving this group with approximately 72% in unrealized gains. Adler notes that shifts in LTH cost basis are influenced by holding duration and the migration of assets into the short-term cohort.
