CFTC Secures Over $30 Million Judgment Against Fundsz Fraud Defendants

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced that a federal court has ordered Brian Early and Alisha Ann Kingrey to pay over $30 million in penalties for their roles in the Fundsz fraud scheme. The court found that the defendants, who served as board members and administrators for the platform, made false claims regarding investment returns and the use of proprietary trading algorithms. Additionally, the court issued consent orders against two other individuals, Rene Larralde and Juan Pablo Valcarce, with Valcarce receiving a permanent ban from trading crypto assets or precious metals on behalf of others.
