CoinGecko Analyzes Real Liquidity Across Eight Major Exchanges

A 2026 report by CoinGecko evaluates market depth across eight centralized exchanges, including Binance, Bybit, Bitget, OKX, Kraken, Crypto.com, Coinbase, and MEXC. The study measured liquidity for BTC, ETH, XRP, Solana, and Dogecoin between July 6 and September 3. Findings show that Binance leads in liquidity for BTC and ETH, while Coinbase holds the top position for XRP and SOL. Overall, liquidity for the studied assets, excluding Bitcoin, has declined compared to 2025.
