On October 1, Mixin introduced Mixin Safe, an asset management solution designed for large holders, families, and institutions. The platform utilizes multi-signature, MPC (Multi-Party Computation), and time-lock technologies to prevent single points of failure. Transfers require approval from co-managers via the Mixin App and a secondary signature from the owner using hardware or software wallets. This multi-layered security approach aims to mitigate risks associated with system failures, lost devices, or key leaks.
