Standard Chartered Forecasts 8x Growth for Ethena's USDe by 2028

Standard Chartered has initiated research coverage on Ethena, projecting an eightfold increase in the supply of its synthetic dollar, USDe, by the end of 2028. The bank highlights the convergence of DeFi and traditional finance as a key driver. While USDe faces regulatory hurdles in Germany and is excluded from the GENIUS Act's stablecoin payment framework, the bank expects significant growth in Asian and offshore markets.
