Court Dismisses Most Claims in Celsius Lawsuit Against Chainalysis
A U.S. federal judge in the Southern District of New York has dismissed 15 of 16 claims brought by the Celsius estate against Chainalysis. The court allowed one claim to proceed, which alleges that Chainalysis aided and abetted breaches of fiduciary duty by Celsius insiders. Three consumer protection claims were dismissed with leave to amend by October 20. The lawsuit stems from allegations that Celsius used Chainalysis tools to falsely market $3.3 billion in assets as being audited in 2020.
