Two Dallas men arrested for attempted home invasion targeting crypto holders

Two Dallas residents, 20-year-old Damian Vielma and 19-year-old Jeremiah Clybourn, were arrested on September 24, 2026, in connection with an attempted armed home invasion in South San Jose. Authorities report that the suspects, posing as delivery workers, targeted a residence on September 5, 2026, believing the occupants held significant cryptocurrency assets. The attempt failed when the residents did not open the door. Police utilized automated license plate reader technology to track the suspects, who are now facing charges including attempted robbery and firearm offenses while awaiting extradition to Santa Clara County.
