Tether and Shiga Partner to Launch Self-Custody Financial Services in Africa and GCC

Tether has announced a partnership with Shiga to deploy self-custody wallets and financial services across Africa and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Utilizing Tether's Wallet Development Kit (WDK), the services will support USDT, Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether Gold (XAUT). The initiative includes 'ENTA' for individual and corporate users, and 'Pulse' for financial institutions to build digital asset infrastructure. Shiga is currently in the final stages of obtaining a digital asset brokerage license in Nigeria.
