Onchain Lens reported that Ripple unlocked 1 billion XRP from its escrow accounts on October 1. The total value of the unlocked tokens is approximately $1.49 billion, executed in four separate transactions of 400 million, 300 million, 200 million, and 100 million XRP within minutes.
