Marinade Finance Confirms DAO Attack Mitigated Without Fund Loss

Marinade Finance confirmed that its DAO successfully blocked an attempt by an attacker to seize governance control on September 25. The attacker exploited a voting program vulnerability to inflate MNDE voting power and submitted malicious proposals to replace the voting program and drain the treasury. The DAO Council rejected both proposals within six hours, ensuring no funds were transferred and that mSOL, Native Staking, and SAM services remain secure.
