US President Trump Signs Executive Order Renaming 'AI' to 'SI'

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on September 29 mandating that federal executive departments replace the term 'Artificial Intelligence' (AI) with 'Super Intelligence' (SI) in official documents, websites, and communications. The order, titled 'Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence,' aims to reflect the advanced capabilities of modern systems that extend human creativity and capacity. The Assistant to the President for Science and Technology (APST) has been directed to propose a formal federal definition for 'Super Intelligence' within 60 days.
