DogeOS launches ZK-rollup testnet for Dogecoin

DogeOS has launched a public testnet for its EVM-compatible ZK-rollup, designed to bring smart contract and DeFi capabilities to the Dogecoin ecosystem. The layer-2 solution supports the Ethereum development stack, including Solidity, Hardhat, and Foundry, while aiming for 300 transactions per second with three-second block times. DOGE serves as the native gas token, and the ecosystem already includes projects such as Barkswap, Superposition Finance, and the USDoge stablecoin.
