NEAR Intents to Fully Compensate Users Following $3.8 Million Security Breach

NEAR Intents reported a security breach resulting in a loss of approximately $3.8 million, pledging full compensation to affected users. The incident stemmed from a vulnerability in the interaction between Omni's deposit/withdrawal infrastructure and NEAR Intents smart contracts. While the contract-side vulnerability has been patched, deposits and withdrawals on networks including BSC, Polygon, TON, Optimism, and Avalanche remain suspended for approximately 12 hours.
