Japan’s PayPay Integrates Binance Pay for Overseas Visitors

Japanese payment provider PayPay integrated Binance Pay on September 30, allowing eligible international visitors to make payments at participating offline stores using their crypto balances. The system, facilitated by the HIVEX network, automatically converts crypto assets into Japanese yen at the point of sale. The service is restricted to verified non-resident Binance users and is unavailable to residents of Japan. Users can pay by scanning or displaying QR codes within the Binance app, with support for over 100 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, USDT, and USDC.
