Digital Yuan Cross-Border Settlement Platform Expands with 39 New Applicants

According to Xinhua News Agency, the Digital Yuan International Operations Center reported that 39 additional domestic and foreign financial institutions have applied to join the Cross-Border Settlement Comprehensive Service Platform (CBETS) as of the end of September, following an initial group of 26. The platform continues to optimize its services to support bilateral connectivity with foreign payment systems and direct access for international financial institutions, facilitating trade and cross-border travel.
