Web3Bridge Pivots Focus to Founder Residency Amid Shifting African Web3 Economics

Web3Bridge, a prominent blockchain developer training organization in Africa, is shifting its focus from developer training to a Founders Residency program. The organization clarified it is not shutting down, despite a recent announcement that caused confusion regarding the future of its Nigerian operations. The pivot follows a broader industry reset in Africa, characterized by project closures and global firms scaling back operations, such as Lisk's recent withdrawal. Web3Bridge concluded that technical training alone has not been sufficient to build sustainable, investable businesses, and its new program will prioritize product-market fit, fundraising, and distribution.
