ether.fi stated that it is aware of a security incident involving an Ethereum node operator, confirming that WEETH remains unaffected and all funds are secure. Separately, MetaMask reported it is addressing a security incident affecting some of its infrastructure, noting no direct threat to user wallets. As a precaution, MetaMask is working with partners to proactively rotate affected validators to maintain the security of its non-custodial staking services.
