Meta Launches Enterprise Platform to Monetize AI Services

Meta is pivoting to a new business pillar, the Meta Enterprise Platform, to sell AI solutions directly to businesses. This move aims to diversify revenue beyond its core advertising business, which currently accounts for 97.6% of total income. The new division, led by former MongoDB CEO CJ Desai, offers products including Muse agents, Meta Business Agent, and various APIs. The initiative seeks to transform Meta's significant AI infrastructure investment from a cost center into a revenue-generating service, leveraging its existing relationships with millions of businesses.
