EIP-8363 Co-author Withdraws Proposal from Hegotá Upgrade

EIP-8363 co-author Jérôme de Tychey announced the withdrawal of the proposal from consideration for the Hegotá upgrade. The decision follows feedback from industry participants and core protocol contributors who argued that hard fork discussions are not suitable for deciding changes to issuance policy. The authors intend to pursue a separate process to discuss Ethereum issuance policy and build broader consensus.
