New Proof-of-Concept Enables Offline Bitcoin Transactions via Apple Find My Network

A developer known as zeugmaster has released a proof-of-concept project called 'find-my-nuts' that allows for the transmission of Bitcoin (BTC) without an internet connection. The system uses a Cashu wallet built on Nucula for ESP32 microcontrollers, which leverages Apple's Find My network to relay encrypted data packets via nearby Bluetooth-enabled Apple devices. The project, supported by hardware like Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V3, allows users to send ecash without direct internet access.
