MetaMask Reports Infrastructure Security Incident, No Direct Threat to Wallets

MetaMask announced that a portion of its infrastructure was affected by a security incident. The company stated that there are currently no signs of a direct threat to user wallets. As a precautionary measure, MetaMask is coordinating with partners and security advisors to proactively decommission affected validator nodes within its non-custodial staking service, with further updates to follow.
