Bitget Resumes Bitcoin Withdrawals Following $388 Million Hack

Bitget has begun a phased restoration of withdrawal services, starting with Bitcoin on Monday, after a $388 million security breach on September 24. The exchange confirmed that the backend vulnerability has been remediated. Withdrawals for ETH and other tokens are scheduled to follow in stages through October 2. CEO Gracy Chen stated that the exchange's $464 million User Protection Fund will cover all losses.
