US Senate Democrats Report Claims USDT Is Primary Payment Method in Iran

A report by US Senate Democrats alleges that Tether's USDT has become a major payment instrument in Iran. The investigation found that approximately 84% of over 800 sanctioned crypto wallets primarily or exclusively utilized USDT. The Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations noted that these wallets, which have engaged in USDT transactions, are primarily distributed across the Tron and Ethereum networks.
