Zhipu AI Compensates ZCode Users Following Code Upload Controversy

Zhipu AI is addressing concerns regarding its programming tool ZCode by offering compensation to paid users, including four weekly reset cards and four 5-hour reset cards valid for one month. Additionally, the company will distribute 100,000 grants of 100 million GLM-5.3-Flash tokens to all users between September 28 and October 7. Zhipu AI stated that it has removed the repository snapshot upload feature and deleted the associated cloud data. The open-source version has been updated to v3.14.3, ensuring no code is uploaded to the cloud without user initiation. The controversy stemmed from the default Repo Wiki feature, which uploaded repository content to the cloud for processing.
