BIX Card Plans Expansion to 49 U.S. States

BIX, a crypto-enabled Visa card provider, is planning to expand its service from 29 to 49 U.S. states within the next six to eight months. The expansion is subject to regulatory approvals and the readiness of its banking and payment partners. The card allows users to spend USDC or USDT from self-custody wallets, with merchants receiving fiat currency via the standard Visa payment network. Supported networks include Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Solana, and Optimism.
