According to the head of research at Galaxy, the COLDCARD Seed Entropy theft has resulted in the loss of 1,830 BTC across three attack waves and over 30 smaller related incidents. A total of 256 victims have reported their losses to Galaxy Research, with a median loss of 1.1 BTC per victim. Tracking of the attacker is currently ongoing.
